Today Tamron released a new macro lens for Canon, Nikon with Built-In Motor and Sony.

New firmware for Canon EOS-1D MkIII and EOS-1Ds MkIII

Canon released new firmwares for the EOS-1D MkIII and EOS-1Ds MKIII.
The darkscreen bug has been fixed, as well as some other issues:

Corrects a phenomenon associated with image display during Live View shooting. Corrects a phenomenon in which a displayed image becomes pitch-black if it is zoomed in during Live View shooting.
